HOW DOES IT WORK?
Having no thermal pool and spa cover is like having a house without a roof. Having a bubble plastic cover is like using packaging material to insulate your pool. It will not stand up. With a standard hard cover in place, up to 60% of your tub's heat loss happens out of the top. The THERMALTECH closed-cell system locks in the heat right at the water surface and provides a superior layer of insulating right at the water surface.
In the case of a hot tub, heat travels through a moist atmosphere much quicker than a dry atmosphere. With the thermal floating pool and spa cover in place, the area between the water surface and hardcover is kept dry
keeping heat loss to a minimum! In the case of an outdoor pool, Thermaltech is the extreme UV resistance, strength and usability to get the job done for many years of excellent service.
WHAT IS THE THERMALTECH BLANKET MADE OF?
After over 16 years of slowly perfecting the Floating Thermal Pool and Spa Cover, Thermaltech is second to none!
The THERMALTECH floating pool and spa cover is made of 100% closed cell foam, flame bonded between two durable layers of polyweave. Not bubble wrap plastic like most floating spa and pool covers! All thermal floating covers are seamed using digital wedge welding on a state of the art 50 foot welding track. To date, we are happy to
report that we have never had one single seam failure. The thermal floating cover can also be cut anywhere to fit the size and shape of your spa or pool without any impact on cover's integrity!
WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON USES OF THE THERMALTECH FLOATING THERMAL BLANKET?
The Thermaltech floating thermal covers are most commonly used as floating pool covers, as well as for floating on a swimspa or hot tub to give an extra source of insulation. The Thermaltech Floating Thermal Covers are extremely durable, roll up very well on a reel or can get folded when the pool, swimspa or hot tub is not in use.
